Description:
FreedSeating is our table/server management application. You can now track and easily see the status of every table in your restaurant. Customize your views to see open tables or only certain sections of your restaurant. Plus, FreedSeating stores all of your floor plans along with server sections. Switch from a 3 server table assignment to a 6 server in seconds. See which server is serving which section with a tap of a finger.
The real benefit of FreedSeating comes when used in conjunction with FreedPaging, our waiting list/guest paging application. These two applications talk to each other over the network or on the same FreedBox. As a table's status changes, the appropriate party in the list is assigned to the table automatically. Keep your host staff up front with the customers, not wandering around looking for forgotten tables.

Turn Tables Quicker:
A table status can be one of the following:
- Open
- Need Bussing
- Seated
- Reserved
- Closed
The problem is keeping track of what status it currently is. During rushes, tables can enter the twilight zone as servers get too busy with customers to check-in with the host station, and vice-versa.
The solution is providing an easy way of updating a table's status without any of the staff (host, servers, bussers) having to go out of their way to do it. FreedSeating with a FreedBox does just that. With FreedBoxes strategically placed at server stations and in the kitchen, staff will be able to constantly update a table's status while they're performing their primary functions. All it takes is a couple of seconds and tables turn more efficiently, improving everyone's bottom line.

Load Preset Section Layouts:
Each restaurant divides up the floor regularly to handle different levels of traffic. The point being that servers know their responsible areas and the host staff knows where to seat customers. We've found the following server/section layouts in place:
- By number of servers (6-server, 10-server, etc.)
- By time of day (Monday AM, Friday PM, etc.)
- By meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, etc.)
- By rushes (Friday Dinner Rush, Sunday Brunch Rush, etc.)
- By events (2 banquets, corporate party, etc.)
Regardless of the method you use, we gather all the appropriate layouts and preload them in our systems prior to delivery. This insures that when the systems boot up, your familiar set-ups with their in-house naming conventions are there for you to choose. You just load and go.

Customize Default Views:
With a FreedBox running FreedSeating at each server station, the need for an entire restaurant view is unnecessary. Our application allows you to have only the tables that pertain to that section show up on the screen. This way, a staff member doesn't have to waste valuable seconds at the FreedBox trying to find the correct table to update. All their tables are within easy access. Should the need arise to update a table normally serviced at a different station, FreedSeating provides a simple way to change views to access those tables.
Care to see only the open tables? A few easy steps and FreedSeating shows only the open tables.
Need to update the view to show 3 "4-tops" are now 1 "12-top"? Our system provides a quick, intuitive way to reflect the change.

Easily Find Customers After Being Seated:
"Excuse me, I'm looking for the Smith party."
With FreedSeating running side-by-side with FreedPaging at the host station, a staff member can easily find where the Smith party was seated. Should the Smith party switch tables, a simple update by the wait staff will ensure the system always knows where a party is seated.
Wondering how long a table has been seated? Our system keeps a running tally and displays it with one simple touch.

Eliminate Unbalanced Server Seating:
Whether you want to prevent a host staff member from favoring a server or you want a senior server to garner more tables, FreedSystems can accommodate your preference. Our applications will talk to each other and divvy out the tables however you see fit. More importantly, it will ensure that these preferences our enforced, day-in and day-out with no training necessary for the host staff.
